Crikeez Tattoo

Last week, we visited our friend Jason from Crikeez Tattoos, located in the beautiful Chilliwack, BC, Canada. We’d like to share our interview with him so you can get to know him as well.

Norlond: We've known you for almost a year now, but for those who don't, tell us a little bit about yourself.

Jason: Hi! My name is Jason aka crikeeztattoo. I’m originally from Australia but 11.5yrs ago I decided to come over to Canada under a work and travel visa. Little did I know at that time, making that decision would change the whole course of my life! I now have a great career a beautiful wife and son and call Canada my home!

Norlond: How would you describe your tattooing style?

Jason: I have been tattooing just over the past three years now and as an artist, I still am trying to find myself! I’d say right now I specialize mostly in Illustrative blackwork and pointillism. But always learning new techniques and styles!

Norlond: We love your new space & the great location, feels like you have a good little community going on with the surrounding businesses. What is it that you like about working here?

Jason: So for those of you who don’t know I have moved into a brand new studio with my friends @pokeandstroke. We are situated in the district 1881 area in downtown Chilliwack! Services we offer are brows, freckles, smp, lip tinting and tattooing.
The beauty of this area is that it is so up and coming! It has a rich history, a vibrant community, great coffee and amazing restaurants, breweries and shops! The list could go on!

Norlond: Have you got any exciting news/plans coming up?

Jason: Well I have just jumped into my new location which has been amazing! But in other exciting news I will be attending the Fraser Valley Tattoo Convention in Abbotsford at the TradX centre, November 22-24th! You can buy your tickets online and there will be phenomenal talent and amazing vendors there all weekend!
